This photo was taken Fall of 2012 at Holley Falls, in Holley with a Nikon D800.

Andrea says, "Photography is my passion, and spend most of my spare time with my camera in my hand."

 

 

 

 

 

SECOND PLACE

Beth Neilsen
Spencerport, New York

Beth says, "I snapped this photo in July, while I was driving on Colby Road in Spencerport. There were a pair of swans paddling across a small pond along the roadside and the image of one was just too much for me to take. The reflections were breathtaking and I had to stop to take a few photos. This image was taken with my Nikon point and shoot camera (18x zoom). I utilized no other equipment. Photography is a hobby that I enjoy immensely.

Nan says, "I took this picture of a sunflower growing in my garden this summer. I loved the coloring of the bright yellow against the greens and the little, tiny bee that was sitting on the flower on the left hand side."
