"WESTSIDE MOMENTS" PHOTO CONTEST

Contest theme - "Color Wonderful" -
your best, most colorful creative photo.
Any subject matter.

Submission Period - Submissions will be accepted  Monday, October 8, 2012                                            thru Friday, November 30, 2012.

Sponsor - Kathryn Dishong Photography

Prizes - 1st Place - 16x20 portrait with sitting from
                                   Kathryn Dishong Photography a $200 value.
                2nd Place -11x14 portrait with sitting from Kathryn Dishong Photography
                                    a $150 value.
                3rd Place -  8x10 portrait with sitting from Kathryn Dishong Photography
                                    a $100 value.

Eligibility - Residents of Western Monroe County, Orleans County and Genesee County.
                    Must be 18 years of age or older.
                    One entry per household.
                    Those not eligible to enter - Employees and independent contractors of Westside News, Inc.
                    and their family members.

Judging - Entries will be judged based on artistic merit including creativity, originality, composition and
                  representation of theme.
                  Judging by an independent panel of local media professionals during first week of December 2012.

Terms and Conditions - By entering this contest you warrant that your entry is original, that you are the sole owner and copyright holder of your photo, and that you have not granted exclusive rights to all or part of your entry to any other person or entity. You also warrant that your photo does not invade the right of privacy of any individual, does not infringe on trademark, trade name, trade secret, intellectual property right, or other common law or statutory right nor does it contain any material that might be deemed offensive or obscene, or that otherwise violates any criminal prohibition or the personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity. You also grant the right to Westside News, Inc. to display your photo on their website and Facebook page for viewing.

How to Enter- Entry by email only. Please include name, address, city, state, phone number and a brief description of your photo including how and where you captured the image, technical support used, and any background about the photo that contributes to understanding the image. Please submit a high resolution image, at 200dpi and in the jpeg format. By submitting your photo you verify that you agree to the terms and conditions listed here.
