Gillam-Grant and Girl Scouts work together to help local families in need

Gillam-Grant Community Center will be teaming up with the Girl Scouts on November 20 to create Thanksgiving boxes for the Salvation Army to be distributed to local families in need this holiday season. Gillam-Grant executive director Peggy Swapceinski says she is excited to be able to help the Girl Scouts gather food to provide for those in need. Gillam-Grant is lucky to have so many caring individuals who are willing to get involved.”

To donate items or an entire Thanksgiving box, visit the Gillam-Grant Community Center’s website: gillamgrant.org. Drop-off of non-perishable goods starts November 17. All perishable goods should be dropped off Thursday, November 20 between 4 and 6 p.m.
