Spencerport Community Chorus presents Spring Concerts weekend of March 21-22

The Spencerport Community Chorus will present its spring concerts on Saturday, March 21 at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m. Both concerts will take place at the Ogden Presbyterian Church, 2400 South Union Street, Spencerport.

The Chorus, directed by Margaret Page Colucci and accompanied by Karen Bernhardt Kuntz, consists of members from Spencerport and neighboring communities. The group “For Singing’s Sake” will be guest performers at the Sunday afternoon concert. Also, former member and Spencerport native Susan (Costine) Mc-Knight, now living in Colorado, will be returning to participate in these concerts which are also the last for director Margaret Page Colucci, as she will be retiring at the end of the spring season.

Music to be performed is an eclectic mix which includes numbers by Andre Thomas, Greg Gilpin’s arrangement of “How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Loved You When You Know I’ve Been a Liar All My Life,” and others.

Concerts are free. Donations are appreciated. Free refreshments follow each concert.
