Start your Spring Cleaning for Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester (RMHC) encourages Rochesterians to begin their spring cleaning and drop off gently used merchandise at the curb-side drop-off in advance of its Spring Household Sale.

Individuals can drop off their donations for the Spring Sale at the Rochester Tech Park at 789 Elmgrove Road, Rochester, on: Thursday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All items should be clean and in good working order. Examples of items that sell well at the Household Sales include antiques, collectibles, housewares, books in good condition, clothing, hardware, sporting goods, toys, small appliances, bikes, holiday decor, craft and hobby items, and furniture.

“The donated items will be sold at the upcoming Spring Household Sale on May 5-9,” said Carol DeMoulin, President, Ronald McDonald House Charities. “The Spring Household Sale is one of two Household Sales that we host each year, the other one is the fall. The event draws thousands of community members in support of RMHC and all proceeds raised during both Household Sales directly benefits RMHC.”
