Chamber Ballet combines talents in music and dance

The College at Brockport’s Department of Dance presents a new ensemble, Chamber Ballet Brockport, for two nights only. The new ensemble, with artistic direction by Brockport faculty Vanessa Van Wormer and musical direction by Eastman School of Music alumnus Hilary Glen, features choreography by multiple guest artists, and performances by students from the Department of Dance and Eastman School of Music. The concerts take place Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25 at 7:30 pm. The performances are in the Rose L. Strasser Studio in Hartwell Hall, Kenyon Street, on the Brockport campus. A $5 donation is requested, and tickets are available at the door. Proceeds benefit future programming and community outreach by Chamber Ballet Brockport.

Chamber Ballet Brockport (CBB) is a multidisciplinary ensemble distinguished by its collaboration and performance with live musicians, and focus on contemporary ballet. The ensemble works with guest choreographers and musicians from the Rochester and Eastman School of Music community and beyond.
