Sweden Republicans nominate 2015 slate

The Sweden Republican Committee has nominated the following slate of candidates for the 2015 election: Supervisor Rob Carges; Councilperson Donald Roberts; Councilperson Peter Sharpe; Tax Receiver Kathleen Bahr-Seever and Highway Superintendent Brian Ingraham.

Carges is seeking his second term as Supervisor; he had previously served 20 years as a town board member, 12 as deputy supervisor. He is the IT Director at Brockport Central Schools. Roberts is seeking his second term on the Town Board. He is an Operations Manager at Page Countryside in Spencerport. Peter Sharpe is seeking his first term on the Town Board. He currently serves on Sweden’s Zoning Board of Appeals and is a CTE teacher at BOCES II in Spencerport. Bahr-Seever is seeking her first full-four year term as tax receiver after being appointed last year to fill a vacancy. Ingraham is also seeking his first full four-year elected term as highway superintendent after being appointed to fill a vacancy in 2014.

The candidates have received cross-endorsements from the Conservative and Independence Parties. The general election will be held on November 3, 2015.
