Where’s Waldo? In Brockport, of course. The famous children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs continues to visit twenty-five local businesses throughout the community through the end of July. Find Waldo Local is a summer vacation activity that also supports local businesses and the Shop Local movement in the community.
Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a passport at Lift Bridge Book Shop, located at 45 Main Street, Brockport. The passport contains the names of all the participating sites where participants can get their passports stamped or signed for each Waldo spotted.
Collecting store stamps or signatures at twenty or more businesses will entitle diligent seekers entry into a grand-prize drawing on Sunday, July 31 at 1 p.m. with the top prize being a six-volume deluxe set of Waldo books (must be present to win). All prizes donated by businesses in downtown Brockport.
