Visit the Depot and Canal Museum

Be a tourist in your own town. The Spencerport Depot had over 4,000 visitors last year with over 300 boats stopping to see one of the only remaining trolley stations on the Erie Canal. With lots of historical items to view when you visit the building and meet the friendly staff, this is a family event to enjoy. Hours of operation from June to September will be as follows: Monday – Thursday,  9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 12 to 4 p.m.

Major events coming up are: Heritage Days on August 18, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and August 22 the Lois McClure tour boat will be in Spencerport and open for tours.  Volunteers are always needed to help greet visitors and keep the Depot one of the best Erie Canal visitor centers on the canal.
