Race through history at GCV&M

It’s the most unique race course around, winding over nature trails and right through a picturesque living history village. Genesee Country Village & Museum’s 5K Race Through History starts at 9 a.m. sharp on Saturday, May 18, and includes Museum admission for the day plus a post-race party with refreshments and awards. Chip timing will be managed by PCR Timing, so runners can shoot for a new personal record, while others may be more interested in a brisk walk through the scenic trails and paths of GCV&M’s Nature Center and Historic Village. Under the watchful eye of the Museum’s iconic gazebo, the Great Meadow will play host to a variety of free races for kids to make the day fun for the whole family. After the race, participants can wander the Historic Village and Museum grounds, taking in the many demonstrations and activities for the day. The Depot Restaurant will be open and serving lunch and drinks all day as well.

Registration for the 5K is $30, $20 for GCV&M Members, $15 for students with ID.
