OFC Creations presents Josie Waverly’s new show

OFC Creations will be partnering with Josie Waverly to present her latest show: “America’s Sweetheart of Song, A Tribute to Connie Francis” from May 24 through 26 at the Bruce Legacy Theatre, 75 Stutson Street, Rochester.

“America’s Sweetheart of Song: A Tribute to Connie Francis” is written by and stars Josie Waverly of Hilton. Audiences will be whisked away in the memories of the 50s and 60s with Connie Francis following a down-on-her luck music fan who just lost her most prized possession: her Connie Francis scrapbook. Audiences will experience the retelling of her memories as they come to life on stage. Featuring greatest hits including “Where the Boys Are,” “Stupid Cupid,” “Lipstick On Your Collar,” “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool,” and many more.

The show features a professional rock band, back up singers, and two lead performers. The show stars Josie Waverly as Connie Francis who was recently inducted into the New York State Country Musical Hall of Fame. Waverly is well known in the area and across the East Coast for her shows “My Gal Patsy” and “Queens of Pure Country.” Marge Mattioli joins Waverly on stage in this production as the die-hard Connie Francis fan.

Performances will be Friday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 25 at 2 p.m.; Saturday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $35 for VIPs,  $25 for general admission, and are available online at www.OFCCreations.com or in person at all area Wegmans.
