Linda Kent received the “Extra Mile Award” for her tireless dedication serving the Town of Hamlin as the Director for Life Solutions; a volunteer position. Under Linda’s direction, Life Solutions provides Thanksgiving dinners to needy families and Christmas presents to children. Life Solutions also provides food year round to many families in need.
Linda spends endless hours helping out residents of Hamlin with advice and assistance with searches for shelter, jobs and any help that may be needed. She participates in fundraising activities around the town and has also helped run a supply drive to help the local Hamlin Dog Shelter.
Linda has created a very welcoming, positive, joyful place for those that need help while maintaining a smile on her face in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
