NYSDOT to host information session for proposed Route 104 project

Public Meeting set for Wednesday, September 11, 4:30 p.m. at Parma Town Hall

The New York State Department of Transportation will host a public information session for an upcoming resurfacing project along Route 104 (West Ridge Road) between Route 259 (Union Street) and Route 261 (Manitou Road) on Wednesday, September 11, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Parma Town Hall, 1300 Hilton-Parma Corners Road, Hilton.

Department staff from the Rochester regional office will be on-hand to share information regarding the upcoming project, slated for construction in 2020. The plan proposes to resurface and restripe this stretch of West Ridge Road to improve rideability and reflect a new traffic pattern along with enhanced pedestrian and bicycle accommodations.

The information session will be an “open house” format, and those interested in attending may arrive at any time during the session to review project details with DOT staff. There will be no formal presentation during the meeting.
