•Alexander, Jay R., July 9, 2014. He is the son of the late William R. and Eloise (Blatchford) Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Winner) Alexander; his cat, Baby; brothers, William (Rachel), Larry (Jeanne), John (Margaret), Stephen (Michelle) and Daniel (Lorraine) Alexander; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Winner, Walter (Susan) Winner and sister-in-law, Belle Viola (Donald Badough); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; special nephew, Bill Alexander; his good friends, Charlie Campanella, Leroy Earsing and Tim Kelso. Jay was the former owner of Alexander’s IGA and owner of Jake’s Pub & Grill in North Chili.
A Memorial Gathering will be held 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 20 at Jake’s Pub & Grill, 4390 Buffalo Road, North Chili. Donations can be made to the Aurora House, 2495 South Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 in his memory.
