•Empey, Scott S., Suddenly on July 11, 2014, at age 58. Predeceased by his father, John “Jack” Empey; and brother, Kevin Empey. He is survived by his loving wife, Becky; daughter, Kelly (Matt) McLennan; granddaughter, Layla; step-children, Paul Connelly, Scott Connelly, Katie Connelly; mother, Honey Empey; sister, Sharon (Bill) Swartz; his brother, Todd (Mary) Empey; several nieces and nephews; his two dogs, Bruin and Fenway; and many dear friends. Scott coached Brockport High School Hockey for many years and brought them to the State Championship and won in 2003.
Services were held July 14 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Tri-County Youth Hockey, c/o Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in his memory.
