Survived by wife, Beverly Schmidt; daughter, Melinda Jiacobbe; son-in-law, Rob Jiacobbe; grandchildren, Robert (Sarah) Jiacobbe and Brian Schmidt, Jr.; great-grandchildren, R.J. Jiacobbe & Dillon Turner; Predeceased by son, Brian Schmidt, Sr., granddaughter, Kim (Jon) Turner.
