Two to attend Empire Girls State

Two local seniors are selected to attend Empire Girls State, a leadership program sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. These representatives will participate in the weeklong session held at the College at Brockport early this summer. Over three hundred young women from across New York State will have the opportunity to engage in a practical government experience designed to instill a working knowledge of the structure of government and an appreciation for the fact that their government is what they make it.
