Families, community members, students and former Gates Chili teachers and staff members from the Washington Irving Elementary School visited their former classrooms, walked the hallways, and viewed memorabilia at the Washington Irving Celebration on Tuesday, August 26. The former Washington Irving School was recently sold by the Gates Chili Central School District.
