Holley students share their love of reading with Oak Orchard patients and visitors

Looking to share their love of reading with others, Cora Bennage and Cavan Bennage donated over 330 books to Oak Orchard Community Health. It took three weeks for Cora and Cavan to collect the books from their classmates in the third and fifth grades at Holley Elementary School. The books will be placed in waiting rooms throughout Oak Orchard’s Brockport, Albion, Lyndonville, and Warsaw locations.

“In addition to providing excellent patient centered health care, we strive to make every patient and family feel at ease when they come through our doors. The wonderful generosity of Cora and Cavan Bennage helps us do just that,” said Jim Cummings, Oak Orchard CEO.

When asked what prompted the idea of a book drive, Cora responded simply, “We want to share our love for reading with others.”
