At a ceremony held in March, 20 students from Byron-Bergen Jr. High School were inducted as new members of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). The inductees were selected based on their high standards of scholarship, citizenship, service, leadership and character — the five qualities all members must represent.

Speakers included NJHS Vice President Kolbi Brew who congratulated the newest members on their accomplishment. NJHS Secretary Emma Goodman and Treasurer Brianna Shade also spoke, reading descriptions of the five qualities that define National Junior Honor Society members.
