Help Fill the Bus for H-P Food Shelf

The Hilton Central Schools Teachers Association is sponsoring their first Care Day on Saturday, May 16. A major part of the day is the collection of non-perishable food items to benefit the Hilton-Parma Food Shelf.  On Saturday, May 16, a Hilton district school bus will be parked outside of the Hilton Tops market from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. to collect food. Each district school began collecting items on May 4. The HCSTA goal?  Fill the Bus with healthy food to then stock the shelves of the Hilton Food Shelf.

Hilton teachers will also volunteer their time on the 16th with a variety of community organizations.  Area churches, Hilton East, Parma Public Library and different areas of Parma Town Park will benefit from the efforts of district teachers.  Several area businesses including Green Acre Farms and Nursery, Tops and Wegmans are providing donations.
