Churchville-Chili Board of Education adopts proposed budget

At its April 12 meeting, the Churchville-Chili Board of Education adopted the proposed budget of $82,563,092 for the 2016-17 year. The proposed budget reflects a budget to budget increase of 3.86 percent. This would mean a 0.71 percent increase in the tax levy, which is below the district’s levy cap of 0.96 percent, equaling an estimated tax rate decrease of 0.18 percent in all four towns in the district.

It will now go out to the community for a vote on May 17. Community members are welcome to attend any of the presentations of the Proposed 2016-17 Budget listed.
