Byron-Bergen class of 1966 celebrates 50 years

The Byron-Bergen Central School class of 1966 kicked off their 50-year reunion celebration with a social gathering at Five Sons Winery on West Sweden Road with 16 classmates attending.

The celebration continued at Dibbles Family Center in Batavia with a buffet dinner consisting of 19 classmates and eight spouses. Other attendants included former teachers of the class: Mr. Terry Kolb (art), Mr. Menzor Dowd (music) and Mr. Roger Ebil (math). Memory books and commemorative pen sets were presented to each class member.

Richard Herman and Robert Morgan, along with Margery Pask, entertained all with their musical talent. The class also shared in a memorial for those classmates that had passed on.

The next day, celebrating continued with a picnic at the Gillam Grant Community Center in Bergen. Many stories from high school were recalled with much laughter. They had a raffle with some items made by the classmates.
