The Churchville-Chili Central School District announced the selection of new Board of Education member, Kristen Brumbaugh, who was appointed at the October 25 Board of Education meeting. She replaces former board member, John Connelly, who resigned from his seat in September due to work commitments. Kristen will serve for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year.

Kristen and her husband, Matthew, a Churchville-Chili graduate, moved back into the district three years ago so their two children could also attend Churchville-Chili. Both Noah and Emma attend Fairbanks Road Elementary school.

Kristen received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and now works at Professional Financial Strategies in Pittsford. She has been a literacy volunteer for the district and currently seeks to expand her volunteer work as a Board of Education member. Kristen says, “As a school board member, I am interested in the growth of our students through learning and social awareness, as well as their security on the campus and security in the technology we provide.”

The Board of Education and the administrative team would like to welcome Kristen.
