If you are a Brockport Central School District resident and have a child who will turn five years old by December 1, 2018, your child is eligible for kindergarten in September 2018. Kindergarten pre-registration forms will be mailed to all families with eligible children listed in the school database by January 19, 2018. Parents who do not receive a kindergarten pre-registration form by the end of January should call the registrar’s office at 637-1857.
The following information will be requested when parents call the registrar:
•child’s name and date of birth
•parents’ names, addresses, home and work phone numbers
•pediatrician’s name
•at least one emergency contact
An information meeting for parents of incoming kindergarten students will be held Monday, March 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Ginther Elementary School.
Kindergarten registration packets will be mailed around the end of February. Parents should bring the completed registration packet to their student’s scheduled screening appointment in April (which will be scheduled by Ginther Elementary School in March).
