Roberts students take action

The Roberts Wesleyan Student Senate held a gathering in the library cafe on Wednesday evening, March 14, where fellow students and the community were invited to write letters to the survivors of the Parkland, Florida tragedy.

The Student Senate also provided information and paid postage for letters written to state representatives.

Student Senate chair, Cheyanne Zaremba, spoke about her passion, encouraging the community to raise their voices in support of ending gun violence.

The Rochester community gathered on Saturday, March 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Washington Square Park for the “March for Our Lives” rally in support of ending gun violence.
