Brockport CSD Board of Education appoints new director of transportation

The Brockport Central School District Board of Education appointed Matthew Schultz as full time probationary director of transportation effective December 3. Schultz will fulfill the role of Milton Waye who is retiring at the end of November.

Schultz has served as an administrator in the Brockport Central School District since 2013, with experience as assistant principal at Brockport High School, Oliver Middle School and Fred W. Hill School. Prior to that he spent more than 10 years with the Greece Central School District where he taught social studies and held various administrative positions.

“Matt Schultz’s extensive leadership experience, enthusiasm and commitment to Brockport Central School District will make him an exceptional addition to our team of directors,” said Dr. Lesli C. Myers, superintendent of schools. “We are excited to welcome him to his new role of leading our transportation department and ensuring the safe travel of students to and from school.”

Schultz holds an education administration certification in school building/district leadership. He earned a Master’s of Science in Education from The State University of New York College at Brockport and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a teaching certification from The State University of New York College at Geneseo.
