Young Entrepreneurs Academy accepting applications for Class of 2020

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) at the University of Rochester is accepting applications from local middle and high school students between the ages of 11 and 18 years old determined to turn their passions and ideas into real businesses. The Young Entrepreneurs Academy class meets on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. from October 15 through May 12, 2020. Accepted applicants will meet with and be mentored by local entrepreneurs and business leaders learning what it takes to launch a successful business or non-profit. Behind-the-scenes tours of local businesses and business pitch competitions with funding awards are included. YEA! graduates have been featured in several national media outlets. 

Information sessions will be held at the University of Rochester, Simon School of Business on Thursday, September 5 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m., and Tuesday, September 10 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Call 272-3535 or email info@yeausa.org for details to attend.
