Hilton instrumentalists selected for Music Educators’ Honor Band

Honors Band

Nine students from the Hilton High School Wind Ensemble have been selected to participate in the Music Educators’ Honor Band. Throughout November, these students participate in extensive rehearsals and sectionals, and perform with professional musicians. The festival will culminate on Sunday, November 24 at 4 p.m. at Brockport High School with an hour-long performance by the students and educators. The concert is free and open to the public. The students were chosen based on their standing in their high school band, teacher recommendation and past solo/ensemble experience: (front, l-r) Carlee Avery, Autumn Alexander and Samantha Striemer, French horn; and Cassandra Cerone, trumpet; (back) Logan McGranaghan and Gavin Anderson, trombone; Nicholas Graziano and Matthew Sarnov, tuba; and Laura Reigle, French horn.
