Student Art Exhibition is a harbinger of spring

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

The students of the Department of Art at The College at Brockport have been hard at work. They have been making art all year long, and are now hoping to be included in the Annual Student Art Exhibition. This juried show will consist of a variety of media, including ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, graphic design, and mixed media. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will run from March 27 through April 17, at the Tower Fine Arts Center Gallery, 180 Holley Street, Brockport. A reception and awards ceremony will take place on Friday, April 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. (The Gallery will be closed on April 12 for Easter.)

Gallery director Tim Massey always looks forward to this “celebration of our students’ artistic achievements. It is the pinnacle of our exhibition season.”

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. For information, call 395-2805.
