Pickleball courts in Brockport open

Pickleball courts in Brockport officially opened with a ribbon cutting August 5 at Barry Street Park, the site of the only designated outdoor pickleball courts in western Monroe County. (There are other pickleball courts in the county but they are set on tennis courts).

Folks from Churchville, Spencerport/Ogden, Kendall, and other areas were on-hand to get the courts “bouncing” with play for over two hours (demonstrations preceded the action).

Normally, experienced players will be on hand at the Barry Street courts M-W-F 10 a.m. to noon to give demonstrations.
