Klafehn paces Cadets in swimming

Bailey Klafehn had a pair of individual first place finishes and was part of a top relay team to help lead Hilton to a 93-79 victory over Churchville-Chili in girls swimming.

Klafehn began the meet with partners Erica Hughes, Dee Logory and Kathryn Batz winning the 200-yard medley relay in 1:58.21. She then took first in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:21.53 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:03.15.

Emma Doughty took first in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:15.16, Meghan Reitz the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.49 and Madeline Wolters won the diving with 193.75 points.

The Cadets 200-yard freestyle relay team of Hughes, Danielle Meeker, Emily DeClerck and Reitz won in 1:49.71.

For Churchville-Chili, Mercedes Mc- Kinney won the 50-yard freestyle in :26.56, Marlane Hochgraf the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.67, Amanda Penepent the 500-yard freestyle in 6:22.80 and Giulia Salvatorelli the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:20.82.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team in McKinney, Isabelle Horvath, Sierra Schertler and Hochgraf won in 3:59.48.
