Bright Raven Gymnasts earn Gold, Silver and Bronze

Bright Raven gymnasts competed in the USA Gymnastics Level 3 Upstate New York Championships in East Rochester June 6 and earned gold, silver and bronze medals in many divisions.

12-year-old McKenna Kiesel of Chili earned five gold medals in the Senior C Division.

Kiesel took first all around (39.00) and first in every event: vault (9.70), uneven bars (9.775), balance beam (9.65) and floor exercise (9.875). Teammate Kayla Silverstein of Chili earned second place on both the uneven bars (9.625) and balance beam (9.575) and placed third all around (38.275) in the same division.  In the Senior D division, Addison Glozer of Spencerport tied for first on vault and took second place all around (37.95), second on balance beam (9.65) and tied with teammate Aliyah Gibson of Chili for third place in floor exercise (9.925). Aliyah Gibson also earned third place on balance beam (9.525) and third all around (37.475). 10-year-old Katrina Daly of Spencerport won three gold medals competing in the Senior A division.  She was first on vault (9.70), floor exercise (9.80) and all around (38.625) and was awarded silver medals placing second on both uneven bars (9.55) and balance beam (9.575).

Emily Silverstein, age 9, of Chili competed in the Junior B Division and won first place on floor exercise (9.725), third place on the uneven bars (9.375) and third all around (37.20).  Alyse Ahlstrom of Gates earned second all around (37.425) and third place on vault (9.40) in the same division. In the Junior C division, Madalynn Condidorio took first place on vault (9.65) and Sophia Daeschner of Spencerport was third on balance beam (9.45). In the Junior A Division, Meredith Fingler of Chili placed second on both the uneven bars (9.65) and floor exercise (9.725). In the Child C Division, Camryn Trybuskiewicz of Chili won gold placing first on floor exercise (9.825) and bronze on vault placing third (9.45).

The Bright Raven Gymnastics Level 3 team finished third as a team in a field of 25 teams represented at the Championships.
