Hilton athletic director receives NIAAA State Award of Merit

Michael Giruzzi, CAA, director of Physical Education and Athletics at Hilton Central School District, received the 2017 NIAAA State Award of Merit during the New York State Athletic Administrators Association conference on March 16.

This annual award is provided by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) for recognition of meritorious dedication to High School and Middle School Athletics.

Giruzzi’s accomplishments include: Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA); athletic director for 17 years; New York State Athletic Administrators Association (NYSADA) past president and current treasurer of NYSADA.
