Johnson, LaBue, Enser carry Cadets

Senior Caleb Johnson, junior Payton Labue and sophomore Jared Enser each had a pair of individual firsts and the latter added a pair of relay team wins as Hilton defeated Churchville-Chili 99-77 in boy’s swimming.

Johnson took the 100-freestyle and the 100-backstroke in :53.80 and 1:03.56 respectively. Labue easily won the 50-freetyle in :23.44 and the 500 freestyle in 5:09.70 while Enser touched first in the 200-individual medley in 2:04.54 and the 100-butterfly in :56.33.

Enser swam the first leg of meet-opening winning 200-medley relay with Jaden Rosario, Connor Michalowski and Mitchell Derousie in 1:58.18 and the 200-freesyle relay with Rosario, Matthew Wilson and Gianluca Antonini in 1:45.22.

Sophomore Alexander Morreale was also an individual winner for the Cadets taking the 200-freestyle in 1:55.35.

For Churchville-Chili, sophomore Jacob Calus and senior Jonah Petty finished one-two in diving with Calus earning 296.10 points. Junior Bryan Morano won the 100-breaststroke in 1:12.34 and was part of the winning 400-freestyle relay team with Keegan Woodling, Noah Bader and Petty winning in 4:01.10.
