Saints sweep Midlakes-Newark to remain undefeated

All four singles players and two doubles teams did not lose a single set as Churchville-Chili defeated Midlakes-Newark 7-0 in boys tennis to clinch the Monroe County Division III regular season title for the third consecutive year.

Top singles player and senior Ben Davis and second singles classmate Kyle Kline each won their matches 6-0, 6-0. 

Sophomores Caleb Bailey and Ryan Dick both were awarded forfeits at third and fourth singles respectively. 

The Saints top doubles team of seniors Connor Starr and Ethan Wilson defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-0. Seniors Michael Moore and Samuel Nieboer won at second doubles 6-2, 6-2 while freshman Collin Curley and senior Aidan Seaburg won via forfeit.

Churchville-Chili improved to a perfect 12-0 for the season and the sweep marked their ninth of the campaign.
