Local veterans representing all branches of the military took part in the opening ceremonies and raised the flag at the Orleans County Fair Monday, July 21.
State Assemblyman Steve Hawley greeted WWII veteran Mike Paduchak of Kendall following opening ceremonies at the fair. Hawley said during opening comments that the Orleans County 4-H Fair should be the envy of fairs across the state for its family-friendly atmosphere.
