History on Tap at Genesee Country Village & Museum

Forty years and forty beers; that’s the theme for Genesee Country Village & Museum’s History on Tap program to take place on Friday, June 3 at the museum, in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

From 5 to 9 p.m., visitors are invited to stroll the grounds and sample a variety of alcoholic beverages (including wines and ciders) created by local brewers and vintners, while listening to the live music of the rock band, Dog House.

Some two dozen buildings will be open for exploration, including upper reaches of Hyde (Octagon) and Hamilton houses, not often open to the public.  Party food will be available for purchase.

Admission costs $20 online (www.gcv.org) or $25 at the door and is limited to those 21 and over. It also includes a GCVM 40th-Anniversary commemorative tasting glass  and a cash bar available throughout the evening.

For more information, visit www.gcv.org or call 294-8218.
